Portrait of Female MAG Deminer – Anlong Veng, Cambodia. May 2007
I spent two weeks working with the Mines Advisory Group, the British de-mining charity, in Cambodia. I was taken to a live de-mining site to interview amputees. This girl was an amputee and had trained to be a sapper. This painstakingly slow job requires incredible consecration and courage. They are required to wear a lot of clothes and protective equipment in the searing heat, out in the open for long days.
