Khmer Mine Clearer, Thai Border Region, Cambodia.
This is probably one of the more risky photographs I’ve taken. To get this, I had to be carried in my chair for about 30m between two strings marking a clear lane with live mine fields either side. Unfortunately the strings were slightly too narrow for the width of my wheels: I therefore had to be carried all the way across to the safety of the other side.
