Chatting with a Subject, Stone Town, Zanzibar.
I often find that I end up chatting to people I have photographed as they are as interested in me as I am in them. While there are many disadvantages to being a combined wheelchair user and photographer, having the camera set low in front of me means that I am not making the aggressive motion of putting a camera up to my eye, covering my face while photographing people. I am able to continue eye contact, which I feel people find less intimidating.
